Situated just off Regent Street, in Portland Place, Ambika House, is a luxury home in the sky that occupies the entire eight floor as well as some of the lower floors of a contemporary building.
Falkus Joinery was approached in 2015 for a private commission to renovate this residential property, and the client required the following high end residential joinery: bespoke bathroom vanity units and custom made wash basin, cistern panel, guest sink unit, hallway wood cupboard doors with mirror, hallway and bedroom shelving unit and storage units, wardrobes, hidden door, angled storage unit, wardrobe with dressing table, hand rail, stair nosing detail
With a total of 8,000sq ft, this eye watering apartment features beautiful high ceilings, with impressive floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows which offer an expansive 360-degree view of the city.
If that wasn’t enough, this spectacular building also features a cinema unit, garden, terrace, and lap pool – we think it’s safe to say this luxury pad offers a little slice of paradise away from the hustle and bustle and the everyday grind of the city.
Working with high spec materials we were tasked with matching white polyurethane joinery with a clear finished Jatoba, crown cut book matched veneer and solid timber.
The below wood wardrobe furthest to the left was designed to conceal the exit to the apartment balcony and utilize the full height of the space for storage.
The contract also included mirrored, Corian, birch ply vanities, communal storage and bedroom wardrobes/vanity desks as above.
