C.F. Møller Architects is one of Scandinavia’s leading architectural firms, with 90 years of award-winning work in the Nordic region and worldwide. Due to the successful growth of the business the team were in need of a full office renovation to make room for their expanding team. In order to keep disruption to a minimum our clients opted to stay in the same location and so were looking for innovative ways to create more space. Being local to Shoreditch, the practice instructed our commercial London joinery in the summer of 2018, to carry out the joinery works.
The client had an ambitious design as they were hoping increase desks and meeting room space without compromising on storage. In order to achieve this objective, the joinery were required to build a complete mezzanine floor with a kitchenette, shelving and under stair storage, bleacher seating units, meeting rooms, wardrobe, and two wood staircases. The entire structure was made using ply wood, with a custom made power coated stainless steel staircase banister.
From start to finish the project lasted 12 weeks, which included the build and installation of all joinery items. The process ran smoothly and we were able to deliver the joinery works on time and within budget.
The architects were very pleased with the office renovation and we look forward to maintaining a healthy working relationship going forward.
