ABOUT THE PROJECT
Client: Max Fordham
Architect: Edward Cullinan Architects
Address: 42 Gloucester Crescent, NW1 7PE
Working from a combination of architect’s drawing and sketch up model supplied by the client FJL successfully completed 2 phases of the Max Fordham fit out.
The purpose of the project was to accommodate the company growth by installing additional desk and storage units. FJL manufactured the layout of the spaces, printing room furniture, document storage, and the pictured upholstered reception bench with a display shelving.
This reception desk was designed to divide the open circular layout of the building into a clear reception/waiting area.
The office space started directly behind this reception bench, following the entire perimeter of the old piano factory, and the upholstered padded back and insulated cavity also acted as a sound baffle to mitigate the associated noise of a large rotunda building.
Veneered American white Oak MDF and solid American oak were used through this project.
