The client

In 2014, furniture designers Sharon Jo-Hung and Chris Yoshiro Green approached the joinery as asked the team to assist with the building of of their display furniture and a POS counter for their upcoming showcase for the prestigious interior design show, designjunction, with the intention of promoting brand awareness for their beautiful simple, Japanese inspired home ware items.

The requirements

The display and POS counter was constructed from Finnish birch matched with solid American maple leg frames, and the display ladder was made with solid maple.

Osmo clear natural Raw oil was used to make the items appear unfinished but gave the wood extra protection. We also made additional solid maple benches and stools to be sold in their Kensington Park Road shop.

The results

All of the bespoke joinery for this project was simple, beautifully designed, and made to last.

The clients were delighted with the outcome, and were feeling proud and show ready.
