Client: The Great Northern Railway Tavern
Project type: Hospitality joinery – beer servers
Joinery requirements: Redesigning and producing beer servers
Location: North London

Beer pump

Recently, we were tasked by The Great Northern Railway Tavern to redesign their beer holders, and being fanatical about beer we jumped at the chance. Their existing holders were made with oak which darkens and rots over time when exposed to moisture and they were in desperate need of replacements.

When taking into consideration the elements that the servers were going to be exposed to we wanted to ensure that the server would be able to withstand moisture and heavy-duty use.

Choosing a robust Beech timber and later sealing the server would ensure that the server would be able to stand up to a busy pub environment.

Here you can see commercial director Will and his family putting them to good use, and just in time for hop season. Mission accomplished!
