10/03/2021 – BENCH JOINERS

We are looking to recruit accomplished Bench Joiners to our team. You will report directly to the Production Manager and be based at our workshop in Shoreditch, London. The specific works we are recruiting for will be a mix of high end residential and commercial projects. Although the works are generally large volume there are also opportunities for more bespoke “one off” joinery.

Qualities & Experience

  • To be able to read and work from shop drawings.
  • Experience of setting and operating wood machines.
  • Commercial Joinery experience.
  • To be able to work as a team and also independently. 
  • To be driven and capable, task focused.
  • Reliable and consistent manner. 
  • Able to follow instruction, direction and take responsibility for work.
  • Ensure that quality is kept at all times.


  • 2+ years experience working as Bench Joiner.
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Have experience of high end residential/commercial projects.

 We are looking to hire a Joinery Assistant to join our team. You will report directly to the Production Manager and be based at our workshop in Shoreditch.

Main duties

  • To prepare and sand joinery for finishing [main duty].
  • Ensure that quality is kept at all times.
  • Ensuring the joinery, woodshed, mill, finishing area & dispatch area always tidy and clear.
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company.
  • To gain knowledge and understanding of the Company’s operations and projects.
  • To participate in the Company’s in-house training programmes.
  • Carry out other reasonable requests made by the Production Manager to support departmental or company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health & Safety are complied with at all times.
  • Observe and comply with all good working practices.

Qualities & Experience

  • A keen desire to work and learn.
  • Be able to work in a team but also by themselves.
  • Be driven and capable, a ‘self-starter’.
  • Be able to take direction and responsibility for their work.
  • Be reliable and hardworking.


  • Have experience of Joinery/finishing/construction.
  • Have experience of working to high Health & Safety standards.
  • Computer literate/ Competent in Microsoft Office applications and other.
